Outside Hours Opportunity!

Hey guys! Hai-Uyen has asked us to help her with her Gold-award project so this is a great outside hour opportunity for you guys to finish early in the year! :) She says:

"Hello everyone! I'm working on my Gold Award called Wishes Do Come True. It is a paper crane-folding competition which will benefit children around the world. This event, which is going to be from August 6-20th, will involve participants getting other people to sponsor them to fold paper cranes. Money raised will go to Doctors Without Borders, which will in turn go to assist those around the world who are in need of medical services.

Don't know how to fold paper cranes! I have easy instructions! If you want to participate, all you have to do is join the facebook event Wishes Do Come True and email me at wishes.with.cranes@gmail.com! I'll send you all the info you need to get started. What you have to do is basically get people to donate money to you to make paper cranes (1 paper crane = 50 cents). Then there will be a final event on August 19th and 20th from 1-6 both days for you to come and fold your paper cranes or just drop them off if you're done!

Hope lots of you will come out and help me make my Gold Award a success!

Thank you!

Service Project Ideas

Hey guys!
So for the service project that NHS will be doing next year, we want YOU (the member) to have a say in what type of service project you guys would be interested in. So just comment in the following post, or if you want, message any of the new officers about your ideas, and we will definitely take into consideration your choice, because we all want to do something that all of you in NHS are enthusiastic about supporting :)
Thanks!
